Aldie

Aldie: same ZIP code, different drive

"Aldie" means two things around here, and the difference decides whether this is a five-minute drive or a fifteen-minute one.

Stone Ridge uses an Aldie mailing address and the 20105 ZIP code — so on paper, GaGa's House is in Aldie. Her own flyer says "serving families in Aldie," and it's accurate.

But Aldie village proper — the historic crossroads on Route 50 — sits further west, past the newer Dulles South developments. Same ZIP, noticeably different drive.

Which Aldie are you in?

  • Stone Ridge / Dulles South with an Aldie address: you're minutes away. See the Stone Ridge page — that's really your drive.
  • Aldie village, west on Route 50: you'd be heading east along Route 50 toward StoneSprings Hospital. Longer, but it's one road, and at 6:30 am you're traveling before the worst of it.

Worth knowing if you're coming from the village

Route 50 through here carries most of the western Loudoun commute. The 6:30 opening exists precisely because of that: it lets you drop off and be moving east before the road fills. A 7:30 start would put you in it.

Anita is voluntarily registered with Loudoun County and CPR certified, in a smoke-free, pet-free home — and, ZIP code aside, she'd be your nearest in-home option in the 20105.

What you'd be driving to

One road east, then three children and one caregiver.

Infant care →

From six weeks. One caregiver all day, naps on your baby's rhythm rather than a room's.

Toddler care →

One to two. Fresh air, block towers, and sharing that isn't optional in a group of three.

Two to three →

The year before preschool, spent as the eldest of three rather than one of twelve.
